Services

Individual, Family, and Couple Therapy:
We treat each patient based on his or her own needs and situation. Common
therapeutic modalities used include Relational, Cognitive Behavioral, Transpersonal,
and Client Centered techniques.

Psychological and Psychoeducational Assessment:
We employ psychological and psychoeducational assessment techniques to
diagnose patients. Some of the assessment tools used are the Wechsler
Intelligence Scales For Children-Fourth Edition (WISC-IV), Wechsler Adult
Intelligence Scales-Third Edition (WAIS-III), the Woodcock Johnson
Psychoeducational Battery III (WJ III), The Rorschach Psychodiagnostic Test, and
the Bender-Gestalt II-Visual Motor Test. These tests measure aptitude in various
cognitive areas, visual perception, motor difficulties, and learning disability.

Differential Diagnosis of ADHD:
We specialize in differential diagnosis of pediatric bi-polar disorder, anxiety,
learning disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorders. All of these have signs and
symptoms which mimic ADHD.

Specialized Treatment of ADHD and Asperger's Disorder Patients:
We specialize in treatment of ADHD and Asperger's Disorder patients. Each
patient is given a customized treatment plan that includes educational,
behavioral, and emotional therapy. Group therapy is also available

Bariatric Surgery Evaluation, Support and Counseling:
Bariatric Surgery Evaluation, Support, and Counseling services are available to
those pre-operative and post-operative patients who desire assistance in their
weight loss surgery journey. Bariatric surgery groups are also available. Bariatric
surgery groups are also available.

Hypnotherapy:
Dr. Leavitt is a Certified Hypnotherapist and offers sessions for Anxiety Control,
Weight Reduction, Smoking Cessation, Pain Management, Study Skills and
Educational Focus, ADHD Focus and Control, and Self-Esteem issues.

Neuropsychological Testing for Memory Problems in the Elderly
We offer assessment of memory and cognitive functioning for persons with
Alzheimer's Disease, post stroke, head trauma, and concussion syndrome.

Psychoeducational Therapy:
We offer Educational Therapy tailored specifically to each patient's needs.
Comprehensive programs in Math, Reading, Vocabulary, History, and Social
Studies are available should your child require assistance in these subjects.

Therapeutic Monitored Visitation:
We offer therapeutic monitored visitation, court evaluations, and psychological
evaluations. Dr. Leavitt is a certified Therapeutic Monitor and Trustline approved.
